Helen L. Kline
Appleman, 94, of Nottingham Village Nursing Center Northumberland PA went
home to be with her Lord Friday morning, January 6, 2006. She formerly
lived at the Rockwell Center Milton PA and the Riverfront Apartments in
Sunbury PA. She was born April 27, 1911 in Danville PA the daughter of the
late Charles and Maude Klose Stigerwalt.
She was a member
of the First Reformed United Church of Christ Sunbury PA. She enjoyed
collecting dolls and knitting and was active in both the Senior Citizens
Centers of Danville PA and Sunbury PA.
She is survived by
one son LeRoy Kline and his wife Terry of Seville Ohio and one daughter June
L. Miller and her husband Simon L. of Bloomsburg PA. Also surviving are
grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother
Edgar Stigerwalt of the Rockwell Center Milton PA and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers; Chester Stigerwalt and Robert
Stigerwalt and two sisters; Mary Geringer and Edna Fryling.
services will be held Monday, January 9, 2006 at 12:00 Noon at
Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 W
Mahoning Street Danville PA with her pastor the Reverend Joseph H.
Lingenfelter officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery
Danville PA. Friends will be received from 11:00 AM until the time of
service. The family will provide flowers. Memorial contributions may be
made to the First Reformed United Church of Christ 160 Chestnut Street
Sunbury PA 17801.
