Harold E. Brady, 71

Harold E. Brady, 71, of 295 Pottsgrove Road Danville PA died Monday morning February 27, 2006 at his residence.  He was born August 24, 1934 in Webster Springs, West Virginia the son of the late Sherman E. and Retha Ware Brady. 

He served as a medic with the United States Army.  He was employed as a spot welder for the Ford Motor Company in Lorain OH retiring in 1992.  Mr. Brady was a member of the Danville Apostolic Church Riverside PA.  He loved dogs and enjoyed riding motorcycles. 

He is survived by two sons; Bruce E. Brady and daughter-in-law Sue of Danville PA and Christopher T. Brady of New Columbia PA and one daughter Tammy L. Smith and son-in-law Rodney of Limestoneville, PA.  Also surviving are six grandchildren; Brandon Smith, Brittany Smith, Michael Brady, Reverend Edward Carl, Greg Carl and Melody Geffroh.  He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are one brother John Brady of Venus PA and four sisters; Wilma Waybright of Webster Springs WV; Sylvia Woods of Williamstown OH; Jean White of Bone Cave, TN and Goldie Hartle of Bellview FL.  He is also survived by the mother of his children V. Louise Smith of Danville PA.  Mr. Brady was preceded in death by one sister Ann Aldrich. 

Funeral services will be held Friday March 3, 2006 at 9:45 AM from the Danville Apostolic Church 1505 Sunbury Road Riverside PA (across from Whitenight’s) with his pastor the Reverend Seth E. Avery officiating assisted by Geisinger Hospice Chaplain Robert D. Barner.  Burial will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville PA with military honors.  Friends will be received Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at the church and Friday from 8:45 AM until time of service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Geisinger Hospice 100 N Academy Avenue Danville PA 17822 or the Danville Apostolic Church PO Box 309 Riverside PA  17868.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 W Mahoning Street Danville PA.
