Frederick J. Brown, Sr., 70, of 510 E Front Street Danville PA died Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at Columbia Montour Home Hospice at Maria Hall Danville PA.  He was born March 16, 1936 in Bridgeport CT the son of the late Fred and Anna Imbimbo Brown. 

He graduated from Florida Southern College with honors in Business.  Mr. Brown served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. 

He was a member of the Austin Banjo Club and was President of The American Motorcycle Association for the state of Florida.  Mr. Brown was employed as a senior manager in computing and telecommunications. 

Mr. Brown enjoyed Judo and earned his Black Belt.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara C. Eisner Brown whom he married June 2, 1956.  He is also survived by two sons; Frederick J. Brown, Jr. of Australia and William K. Brown and daughter-in-law Cynthia of Sanger Texas and one daughter Yvonne C. Marshall and son-in-law Brian of Baltimore MD.  Also surviving are six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.  He is also survived by two sisters; Marilyn Aurillio of New York and Charlene Carson of Roxbury CT. 

Funeral services will be held  Monday, September 25, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Sinclair Lane Church of God 3206 Sinclair Lane Baltimore MD with his son-in-law the Reverend Brian Marshall officiating.  Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery Baltimore MD.  Friends will be received Saturday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 W. Mahoning Street Danville PA and on Monday from 9:30 AM until the time of service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Columbia Montour Home Hospice 599 E 7th Street Bloomsburg PA  17815 or The Sinclair Lane Church of God.
