Dawn M. Bastian, 49

Dawn Marie Bastian, 49, of 13 Valley Green Drive, Danville PA passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at Geisinger Medical Center.  She was born March 2 1957 in Easton PA the daughter of Ann Cianci Cusano of Easton PA and the late Paul Cusano.

She graduated as valedictorian from Notre Dame High School in Easton PA and from Penn State University with a degree in Psychology.

Dawn  was an active  member of Shiloh United Church of Christ where she served as a Lay Pastoral Assistant.  She also served as Volunteer Coordinator for the Intergenerational Program through Geisinger Medical Center Danville PA.

Dawn’s greatest joy was being a mother to her children.  Dawn loved the Christmas season and vacations at the beach.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 25 years Frank Bastian whom she married on January 2, 1982.  She is also survived by two daughters; Nina Bastian and Rachel Bastian and one son Matthew Bastian, all at home.  Also surviving is one sister Joan Cusano of Lansdowne PA.  

A Celebration of Dawn’s Life will be held Monday January 15 2007 at Shiloh United Church of Christ 500 Bloom Street Danville PA at 1:30 PM with her pastor the Reverend Brian E. Cope officiating.  Friends will be received from 11:00 AM until the time of service.  Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. 

Memorial contributions may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Central PA Chapter Suite 100 800 Corporate Circle Harrisburg PA 17110.  Please indicate on your contribution:  In Memory of Dawn M.
