Lillian L. Watts, 85, of 21 E Mahoning Street Danville, PA passed
away Saturday, August 19, 2006 at 3:10 PM at Columbia Montour Home Hospice
at Maria Hall Danville, PA surrounded by her family. She was born May 10,
1921 in Danville PA the daughter of the late William and Minnie Mong
Lillian was a 1939 graduate of Danville High School. She was married to
Kenneth B Watts in Millville PA on February 15 1942. Kenneth preceded her
in death on September 27, 2005 after
63 years of marriage. She worked at Rita Manning’s Dress Shop and W.T.
Grant Store in the
1950’s and early 1960’s and she retired from the Gift Shop at Geisinger
Medical Center in 1980.
was an active member of Pine Street Evangelical Lutheran Church, The Valley
Grange #1184, Golden Agers and 39 Plus. She enjoyed doing crafts,
playing pinochle and sending greeting cards. However, her greatest joy was
her family. Her entire life she put her family first. She looked forward to
visiting or being visited by not only her immediate family but by brothers,
sisters, nieces, nephews and all of her family through marriage, attending
reunions or any occasion that would bring family together.
survived by three daughters; Connie Marsch and Ned of Milton, PA; Nancy
Manger and John of Hatboro, PA and Lois Levan and Doug of Bloomsburg, PA.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one
great-great granddaughter. Also surviving is one sister Bernice and
brother-in-law Vorie Sheatler of Danville PA. In addition to her husband
she was preceded in death by six brothers; William, in infancy; Frank,
Arthur, Robert, Albert and Melvin and four sisters; Hazel Mordan, Margaret
Lewis, Elsie Rudy and Florence Strausser.

Evangelical Lutheran Church 407 Pine Street Danville PA with her pastor the
Reverend L. Keith Pittsnogle officiating. Burial will be in Twin Hills
Memorial Park 3332 Lycoming Mall Road Muncy PA. Friends will be received
Wednesday evening from 7-9 PM at the Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 W
Mahoning Street Danville PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pine
Street Evangelical Lutheran Church.
