Charles A. Blue, 89

November 27, 2006

Charles A. Blue, 89, died at Palm View Nursing Center Yuma Arizona on November 19, 2006.  He was born July 10, 1917 in Tallmadge, Ohio. 

His family moved back to Danville PA in March of 1910.  He was retired from the former Pennsylvania Railroad with 37 years as a freight conductor.  Mr. Blue was a member of Local UTU Lodge #997.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years Dawn Moore Blue.  Also surviving are four sisters; Alice Geise, Jean Reynolds, Grace Reinaker and Phyllis Tysenn.  He is also survived by one sister-in-law Ellen Blue and brothers-in-law Austin Geise, Clarence Reynolds and Walter Tysenn and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 1:00 PM from the Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 West Mahoning Street Danville, PA the Reverend Brian E. Cope of Shiloh United Church of Christ officiating.  Friends will be received from 12:00 Noon until the time of service.  Burial will follow in the Columbia Hill Cemetery Danville, PA www.visneski.com
