86, of 430 Columbia Hill Road Danville, PA died Thursday morning February 17th,
2005 at Geisinger Medical Center. She was born June 26, 1918 in Shamokin,
PA , the daughter of the late John and Anna Grega Strick.
She was a
member of Pine Street Lutheran Church Danville, PA. She was employed for
thirty years by Geisinger Medical Center in the Laundry Department. One of
her greatest accomplishments was that she crocheted over 1,000 bibs for
cancer patients who had tracheotomies at Geisinger Medical Center.
married to the late Charles Maus who died in January 1953. She enjoyed
growing plants and flowers indoors. Mrs. Maus had a keen interest in local
history for Valley Township and Montour County.
is survived by one brother, Joseph Strick of Coal Township, Northumberland
County, PA. She is also survived by her good friends and faithful
neighbors Carl and Norma Nevius. She was preceded in death by a brother
Michael Strick and three sisters; Verna Drust, Ann Foley and Elizabeth
services will be held Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at 1:00 PM from the

Mahoning Street Danville, PA with interim pastor the Reverend Melody Sell
officiating. Entombment will follow in the Johnson Family Mausoleum in Odd
Fellows Cemetery Danville, PA. Friends will be received from noon until the
