Laurie C. Blair, 73, of 401 Laura Drive Apartment 2 Danville, PA where she had resided since August 1, 2005 died Sunday morning at Geisinger Medical Center Danville, PA.  She was born July 22, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Lucille C. Rosica Mina.

She graduated from The Academy of the Holy Child High School in West Philadelphia, PA and attended The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.  She was employed as a real estate agent for Weichert Realtors in Bernardsville, NJ for many years.

Mrs. Blair was a gentle and loving mother and extremely devoted to her family.  She enjoyed dance and ballet and spending time at the seashore.  She especially enjoyed musical theatre having been the producer of many theatrical productions with a local amateur theatre group called The New Theatre in Bernardsville, NJ.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years James J. “Jim” Blair whom she married June 16, 1951.  Also surviving are two sons; James M. Blair of Baltimore, MD and Andrew J. Blair of Sea Isle, NJ.  She is also survived by two daughters; Allison A. Spencer of Danville, PA and Laurie E. Brown of Baltimore, MD and two grandchildren Kelsey and Keith Spencer of Danville, PA.  Also surviving is one sister, L. Cynthia Gilhool of Newtown Square, PA.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at 1:30 PM from the Trinity United Methodist Church 306 Lombard Avenue Danville, PA with the Reverend Dennis W. Derr officiating.  Burial will be private.  Friends will be received from 1:00 PM until the time of service.  Memorial contributions may be made to Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation 86 North River Piers New York NY  10109-2744.  Arrangements are under the direction of Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 W Mahoning Street Danville, PA  17821.
