John H. “Jack” Brownlee, 59

John H. “Jack” Brownlee,  59, of 319 W Market Street Danville, PA died Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville, PA   He was born February 27, 1946 in Montclair, NJ the son of Rose Comasco Brownlee of West Palm Beach. Florida and the late Hamilton Brownlee.

He graduated from Passaic Valley High School Little Falls, NJ in 1964.  He was a former member of a Drum and Bugle Corps in New Jersey and was fond of attending Drum and Bugle Corps performances.   He was an avid fan of local high school football. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Barbara Brownlee Hellstern and brother-in-law Richard of Glen Ridge, New Jersey.  He is also survived by his long standing companion Margaret James of Danville, PA.  Also surviving are two nephews; Douglas Hellstern and Keith Hellstern.

A memorial service will be held Thursday evening, August 25 at 7:00 PM from the Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 W Mahoning Street Danville, PA.  Burial will be private.  Friends will be received from 6:00 until the time of service.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Montour Unit 1948 E Third Street Williamsport, PA  17701.
