Elizabeth Heddens, 76, of 12 Ash Street Danville, PA died Thursday morning, June 16, 2005 at Grandview Health Homes, Inc. Danville, PA. 

She was born December 12, 1928 in Sunbury, PA the daughter of the late Albert and Esther Umholtz Zeigler.  She graduated from Sunbury High School in 1946.  Mrs. Heddens was a member of Shiloh United Church of Christ Danville, PA where she served on various committees.  She devoted her life to keeping her home and caring for her children.  She enjoyed baking, cooking and making doll clothes. 

She was married to Daniel B. Heddens for 57 years whom she married on March 21, 1948.  In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons; Thomas L. Heddens of Danville, PA, Steven D. Heddens of Westminster, Maryland and Rob K. Heddens and daughter-in-law Nancy of Washingtonville, PA and two daughters; Debra K. Williams and son-in-law Steve of Mifflinburg, PA and LuAnn  Penley and son-in-law Gary of Hampstead, Maryland.  She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  One brother, William Zeigler of Bethesda, Maryland also survives her.  She was preceded in death by one brother Jack Zeigler. 

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 20, 2005 at 11:00 AM from the Shiloh United Church of Christ 500 Bloom Street Danville, PA with her pastor the Reverend Brian E. Cope officiating.  Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery Danville, PA.  Friends will be received Sunday evening from 7-9 PM from the Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 West Mahoning Street Danville, PA and also Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Shiloh United Church of Christ Bus Fund.
