D. Mae Kinn, 92,
formerly of 700 Circle Drive Riverside, PA and a resident of Vintage Knolls,
Danville, PA since 2002 died Saturday morning, December 10, 2005 at
Grandview Health Homes, Inc. Danville, PA. She was born December 24, 1912
in Sinking Spring, PA the daughter of the late Robert and Kathryn Cooper
She graduated from
Danville High School in 1931. Mrs. Kinn was employed as a medical secretary
for 28 years in the ENT Department of Geisinger Medical Center retiring in
1974. She was member of St. Peter’s United Methodist Church Riverside, PA.
She enjoyed reading, gardening and growing flowers.
Mrs. Kinn was
married for 59 years to the late Jacob B. Kinn on June 7, 1942 who preceded
her in death March 14, 2002. She is survived by two sons; John B. Kinn and
daughter-in-law Rosemary of Danville, PA and James B. Kinn and
daughter-in-law Karen of Perkiomenville, PA and one daughter Patricia A.
Lindemuth and son-in-law Noel of Shelton, Connecticut. Also surviving is
one grandson Sean Kinn and his wife Rebecca of Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
Mrs. Kinn was preceded in death by two sisters; Louise “Dolly” Clauser and
and friends are invited to attend a graveside service that will be held
Tuesday December 13, 2005 at 1:00 PM from the Odd Fellows Cemetery Danville,
PA with her pastor the Reverend Dr. Donald N. Hurley officiating.
