Beulah Mae Dietz, 75

Beulah Mae Dietz, 75, of 1215 Continental Boulevard Danville, PA died Sunday morning October 23, 2005 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville, PA.  She was born May 24, 1930 in Sunbury, PA the daughter of the late John B. and Edna B. Smith Reeder.

She graduated from Sunbury High School in 1947.  She was a school bus driver for the Danville Area School District.  Mrs. Dietz was a member of Shiloh United Church of Christ Danville PA.  Mrs. Dietz was a homemaker who devoted her life caring for her husband, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She enjoyed collecting owls. 

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, George R. Dietz whom she married August 6, 1950.  She is also survived by two sons; Jeffrey G. Dietz of Danville PA and Rodney S. Dietz of Berwick PA and one daughter Charmaine L. Frasch and son-in-law Charles of Largo, Florida.  Also surviving are seven grandchildren; Michelle Getkin, Andria Derr, Dawn Anderson, Charles Frasch, Lindsey Dietz, Danielle Dietz and Douglas Dietz and five great-grandchildren; Kody and Kasey Getkin, Jonathan and Alexander Derr and Colby Anderson.  She is also survived by one sister; Rachel Oberdorf of Bloomsburg PA.  Mrs. Dietz was preceded in death by two brothers; John K. and Robert C. Reeder and three sisters; Margaret Hastings, Helen Mengle and Ruth Sarvis. 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at 2:00 PM from Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 W Mahoning Street Danville, PA with her pastor the Reverend Brian E. Cope officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery Danville, PA.  Friends will be received from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
