Kathryn A. Weidman, 87

Kathryn A. Weidman, 87, of Danville Road Bloomsburg, PA passed from this life into eternal life with the Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, July 15, 2005 at the Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg, PA after a brief illness.  She was born March 6, 1918 in Lancaster Junction, PA the daughter of the late Amos and Lilly Andes Enterline. 

She was married to Charles W. Weidman September 7, 1935 who preceded her in death April 18, 1980.

Kathryn was educated in the Lancaster County School System and lived with her husband and children in the Manheim area until 1953 when they moved to a dairy farm in the Jerseytown area of Columbia County.  Together they established and operated Madison Manor Farm Dairy.

She attended The Christian Gospel Fellowship of Millville where she enjoyed Bible study, prayer and fellowship.  Mrs. Weidman loved and faithfully prayed for her family and others and left a wonderful legacy for them of a life committed to the Lord.  She enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening and was known for the colorful flower beds surrounding her home.  Beautiful braided wool rugs were one of her specialties and she presented one to each of her eight children.  Many missionaries, friends and family have been welcomed with warm hospitality into her home and treated to delicious meals. 

She is survived by five sons and daughters-in-law; Charles and Tessie of Jerseytown,; Kenneth and Margo of Brooksville, FL; Reverend Donald and Faith of Lewistown; Larry and Janet of Lewisburg and Jonathan and Anna of Jerseytown; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Kathryn McCloud of Bloomsburg,; Lillian and Terry Puderbaugh of Unityville, and Fannie and George Kapp of Millville.  Also surviving are 20 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.  Kathryn was the last surviving member of her immediate family, being preceded in death by her brothers; Charles, Russell, Paul, Amos, Robert and Howard Enterline and one sister, Mary Loercher. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law George McCloud and one great grandson Aaron Conner.                                 

Funeral services  will be held on Monday, July 18, 2005 at 11:00 AM from The Christian Gospel Fellowship Church  2938 State Route 42 Millville, PA with Pastor Paul Converse, Sr. officiating.  Burial will follow in the Jerseytown Cemetery. Friends will be received on Sunday evening from 7-9 PM at the church and from 9:30 AM 10:45 AM Monday at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to New Tribes Missions c/o The Christian Gospel Fellowship Church 2938 State Route 42 Millville, PA 17846.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 West Mahoning Street Danville, PA.
