Norman Keith Fetterman, 65

October 9, 2004

Norman Keith Fetterman, 65, of 182 Pinnacle Drive (Franklin Township, Columbia County) Catawissa PA died Friday afternoon, October 8, 2004  at Columbia Montour Home Hospice at Maria Hall Danville, PA.  He was born October 15, 1938 in Franklin Township Columbia County Pennsylvania  the son of the late Lorenzo and Mildred Fahringer Fetterman. 

He graduated from Catawissa High School in 1956.  Mr. Fetterman was a lifelong dairy farmer and worked for Krum’s Orchard Catawissa, PA.  An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting.  He also enjoyed four wheeling with his dear friends and neighbors Tim and Peg McGaw.  Mr. Fetterman was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church RD2 Catawissa, PA. 

He was preceded in death by his brother, Marshall C. Fetterman September 27, 2004 and is survived by his sister-in-law Elizabeth L. “Betty” Fetterman. 

He is survived by one aunt, Marjorie Fahringer and two uncles Edward Fahringer and Elwood Brassington.  He is also survived by three nephews Franklin, Marvin and Ricky Fetterman and one niece,  Rose Sheaffer.  He is also survived by great-nephews Douglas, Russell, Jeremy, Jacob, Caleb, Aaron, Jonathan and  Joel Fetterman and Eric Sheaffer and great-nieces Regina Craig, Ashley Fetterman and April Sheaffer.  One great great nephew, Alexander Craig, also survives him.  He is also survived by numerous cousins.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM from Mt. Zion United Methodist Church

At the corner of Mt. Zion Road and Orchard Drive in Franklin Township, Columbia County with his pastor the Reverend Les Towsey officiating.  Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery Elysburg, PA.  Friends will be received from 9:30 until the time of service at the church. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Columbia Montour Home Hospice at Maria Hall Maria Drive Danville, PA  17821.  Arrangements are under the direction of Visneski Funeral Home, Inc. 10 West Mahoning Street Danville, PA.
