Harvey G. Diehl, 68

Harvey G. Diehl, 68, of 640 Grovania Drive Bloomsburg, PA died early Saturday morning, May 8, 2004 at his residence.  He was born June 1, 1935 in Danville, PA the son of the late Leo G. and Mildred Long Diehl.   

Mr. Diehl served in the United States Army as a private.  He was a self-employed truck driver.  Mr. Diehl was a member of Danville American Legion Post 40. 

He enjoyed hunting and was an animal lover. 

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Cheryl M. Kremser Diehl and one daughter Katrina Allsteter of Fernville, PA and six grandchildren.  Also surviving is one stepson Joshua L. Heffner of RD1 Sunbury, PA and one stepdaughter Danielle M. Nungesser of RD1 Sunbury PA. Mr. Diehl is also survived by one brother; Harold Diehl of Montoursville, PA and three sisters; Lillian Kreisher of Danville, PA; Ruth Weidensaul of Danville and Mary Sobotor of Williamsport, PA.  He was preceded in death by one son Bruce W. Diehl.

Graveside services will be private at the convenience of the family at the Esther Furnace Cemetery RD3 Catawissa, PA.
