Edward R. Marcheski, Jr.

Edward R. “Pinky” Marcheski, Jr., 61, of 402 Laura Drive Danville, PA and formerly of 18 West Market Street Danville, PA entered into eternal rest Friday morning, September 17,  2004 at his home.  He was born September 14, 1943 in Danville, PA the son of the late Edward R. Marcheski, Sr. and Jane Seebold of Shamokin, PA.   

Mr. Marcheski graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes High School and LaSalle College in Phliadelphia, PA and received his Masters Degree from Bloomsburg University.  He began his accounting career in Danville in 1975 before retiring in 2003 due to illness.  He served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam veteran.  He is a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Danville, PA.   

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Darlene S. Pasukinis whom he  married June 2, 1967 in Honolulu, Hawaii.  He is also survived by two daughters; Jennifer Quinn, Jane Marie Hall and two sons; Edward R. Marcheski III and Jonathan Marcheski, all of Danville, PA.  He is also survived by grandchildren; Madison Jane, Kylie and Hunter Jonathan Marcheski and Bryan Millar.  He is also survived by three brothers; John, Joseph and Thomas Marcheski and four sisters; Sylvia Gross, Jane Reynolds, Mary O’Day and Joyce Martini.   

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11:00 AM from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church 18 East Center Street.  Danville, PA with the Reverend William M. Weary officiating.  Military burial will be private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA at the convenience of the family.  At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation prior to the service.  Military rites will be accorded by the Montour County Veterans Association.  The family will provide flowers.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Danville Children’s Fishing Derby c/o Danville Police Department Mill Street Danville, PA17821 or the Children’s Program at the Women’s Center Inc. of Montour & Columbia County at 111 N. Market Street, Bloomsburg, PA  17815
