Peter Kessler

November 14, 2003

Peter Kessler, 71, of 102 West Mahanoy Street, died Thursday, November 13 at his home after a lengthy illness.  Born October 25, 1932 in the Netherlands, he emigrated to the U.S. in 1948 with his mother and brother.  He was married to Jean McFeely in 1976, and later divorced.  

He served in the Korean Conflict from 1953-1955, in the Signal Corps. He was a self-taught electrical engineer.   

As a Christian believer, he was a member of the Second Reformed Church, Wyckoff, NJ.   

Both of his parents pre-deceased him, and he is survived by a brother, the Rev. Martin Kessler of Danville, a nephew, John M. Kessler, Goldsboro, NC and three nieces: Nancy J. McCann, Brockport, NY, Marjorie R. Kessler, Fort Smith, AR, Nadine J. Marx, Juneau, AK, and five grand-nephews.   

A graveside service will be conducted at the convenience of the family, at St. Johnís Churchyard, Mayberry Township.  Funeral arrangements will be provided by the Miller-Visneski Funeral Home 10 West Mahoning Street Danville, PA, 17821
