Pearl F. Nuss

Pearl F. Nuss, 94, of 8 Wall Street Riverside, PA died Thursday morning, October 23, at Grandview Health Homes, Inc.  Danville, PA.  She was born March 19, 1909 in Danville, PA the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Williams Summers.

She was employed as a garment worker by the Danville Manufacturing Company and the Danville Silk Mill.  She was a member of St. Peterís United Methodist Church Riverside, PA.

She enjoyed flower gardening and traveling. 

She was married to the late Samuel Arthur Nuss who preceded her in death in 1964.  She is survived by one son; James A. Nuss of Danville, PA and two daughters; Mary F. Welliver of Danville, PA and Helen Jean Funk with whom she resided.  She was also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley I. Hicks on March 22, 2001 and five sisters; Mary A. Stephens; Emma Summers; Martha Reigle; Maude Zimmerman; Lilly Oberdorf.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 PM from the Miller-Visneski Funeral Home 10 West Mahoning Street Danville, PA with the Reverend Donald N. Hurley officiating.  Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery Danville, PA.  Friends will be received from 1:00 until the time of service
