Eleanor K. Long

Eleanor K. Long, 92, of 300 Water Street Danville, PA, died Tuesday evening, February 4, 2003,  at Geisinger Medical Center Danville, PA.  She was born July 16, 1910 in Kaseville, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Lambert and Elizabeth Flick Kase.

 She graduated from Danville High School in 1928.  The Catawissa Shirt Factory Catawissa PA employed her as a seamstress.  She was a member of St. Paulís Emmanuel United Methodist Church Danville, PA where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.  She enjoyed gardening, sewing and adored cats.  Mrs. Long had attended every old timerís reunion for the Frosty Valley, which was held annually from Straubís Lutheran Church Danville, PA

She is survived by her husband of 29 Years, Malcolm L. Long.  Two stepsons; Bruce Long of Kansas City, MO and George Long of Bellingham, Washington and one stepdaughter Marjorie Longenbaugh of Albuquerque, New Mexico and five step grandchildren also survive her

She is also survived by one niece, Judith Wertman and a nephew, Thomas Kase; both of Danville, PA, grandnieces and a grandnephew. 

Funeral arrangements were by the Miller-Visneski Funeral Home, 10 W. Mahoning St., Danville.
