NORTHUMBERLAND - Diane E. Kelly, 53, of RR1 Northumberland for the past 10
years, formerly of Riverside, died Sunday morning, April 13, 2003, in the
emergency room at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
was born July 22, 1949, in Sunbury, a daughter of Mildred E. (Swartz)
Clayberger of RR Sunbury and the late Claude K. Clayberger. She and Terry L.
Kelly were married Nov. 2, 1968.
She was a 1967 graduate of Shikellamy High School.
She was a member of Independent Bible Church, Northumberland, where she
served on the activities committee and assisted with Sunday school.
Mrs. Kelly was also a member of the Red Hat Society, Danville.
She enjoyed quilt-making, crocheting, crafting and enjoyed the outdoors.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, and her husband of 34 years, are one
son and daughter-in-law, Scott T. and Deborah Kelly of Ridgway; one
daughter, Heather J. Kelly of Danville; five grandchildren, Ashley, Dakota,
April, Kayla and Nathan, who Diane called her "special loves;" and one
brother, Colin R. Clayberger of RR4 Sunbury.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Dennis A. Clayberger, July 28,
A memorial service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the
Independent Bible Church of Northumberland, Leed and Franklin streets (off
Route 147 at Eighth Street), Northumberland, by the Rev. Kenneth A. Geise,
Private burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
